Agatha
Agatha is among my larger birds to date and is definitely one of my most dramatic. From her purple mohair feet to her flamboyant crest of scarlet pillow trim, she is truly one of a kind.
Agatha’s open beak is made from two pieces of embroidered material which are then sewn together to form the beak. Like the birds of the real-world, Agatha has a crop which was also hand-sewn.
Like all of my sculptures, Agatha is made with re-homed, recycled and new materials. All in limited quantities, all not to be used together again. She is a bit of a diva but she also has a sweet side.
